Services

Coastal maintenance built around how a beach actually behaves

Four services, delivered by the same crews to the same standard, priced per sector and frequency. Everything below is what we do ourselves — we do not subcontract the beach.

Mechanical beach cleaning across a wide sand stretch

S-01

Beach cleaning

Mechanical sieving, tine raking and hand clearance — chosen sector by sector rather than applied to the whole beach.

A tractor-towed sieving cleaner covers roughly 20,000 m² an hour on open dry sand, lifting debris down to 20 mm while returning the sand. On damp, compacted or shell-heavy ground the sieve clogs and does more harm than good, so those sectors get the quad-towed tine rake instead. Dune bases, rock pockets, vegetation lines and any marked nesting zone are worked by hand only.

  • Sieving depth set 30–150 mm to match sand moisture and grain
  • Overlapping passes parallel to the water line at walking speed
  • Hand-only zones mapped before the season and re-checked weekly
  • Post-storm call-out within 24 hours for contracted beaches
Collected shoreline waste sorted for disposal

S-02

Shoreline waste management

What comes off the beach has to go somewhere. We separate it, weigh it, move it and record it.

Collected material is emptied at the Polis depot and separated into hard and soft plastics, glass, metal, fishing gear, timber and mixed waste. Recyclable streams go to licensed handlers; sharps and hazardous finds are boxed separately. Every load is weighed and logged against the beach it came from, which is what makes quarterly impact reporting possible rather than approximate.

  • On-beach bagging and separation at the sector collection point
  • Depot separation into six streams, weighed per beach
  • Licensed disposal and recycling routes with documentation
  • Bin infrastructure supply, siting and scheduled emptying
Guest areas maintained for partner beach clubs

S-03

Guest area upkeep

The beach is clean at 07:00. Keeping it that way at 15:00 is a different job with different people.

Guest area attendants set sunbed lines and parasols before opening, run rolling litter patrols through the day, empty beach bins before they overflow, and check showers, foot washes, matting and signage. At close they carry out the evening reset so the mechanical crew has a clear, obstacle-free beach at dawn. Attendants are ours — briefed, uniformed, insured and supervised by a Liniaiapa crew leader.

  • Morning set-up, rolling day patrols and evening reset
  • Sunbed, parasol, matting and shade structure upkeep
  • Shower, foot wash and signage checks with defect reporting
  • Presentable, briefed staff comfortable working around guests

S-04

Seasonal crews

Trained coastal staff placed with your operation for a week, a month or the whole season.

We recruit and train locally through February and March, then place crews where the season demands them. Every operative completes induction covering manual handling, heat and hydration, sharps and hazardous finds, nesting protocol and dune boundaries. Machinery operators add a unit-specific module. You get people who already know the coastline and the rules that apply to it.

  • Recruited, inducted and insured before they reach your site
  • Supervised by our crew leaders, not left unmanaged
  • Cover arranged for sickness and turnover within 24 hours
  • Flexible from one week to a full April–October season

Operating standard

What every contract includes as a minimum

These are not upgrades. If we are cleaning your beach, all six apply.

  • Written method statement per beach, agreed before the first clean
  • Daily completion sheet signed off by the crew leader
  • Public liability and employer cover for every operative on site
  • PPE, hydration and shade provision as a condition of the shift
  • Quarterly waste and volume report per contracted frontage
  • Fixed post-storm response window for contracted clients

Which beach are we talking about?

Send the frontage length, the access route for a tractor and how many days a week you need cover. We will survey the sector and come back with a method and a price against it.
